KOTA KINABALU: Kota Kinabalu International Film Festival (KKIFF) Director, Jude Day, called on young Malaysian filmmakers over the age of 18 to sign up for the Sabah Film Academy to get international film making exposure.

They will also be working alongside accomplished mentors from Germany, France, the USA and Malaysia.

Those who have a story to tell and intend to develop their skills in making short documentaries are welcomed to join the eight-day workshop to be held in KK on May 31 to June 7.

During this time, participants will be working with a team of filmmakers. Each of them will take up a role as a director, producer, cinematographer, editor or sound and music designer.

“There will be two teams working on different stories which will then be screened at the KKIFF 2015 Awards Night on June 7.
