Film lovers will get an even wider experience of world movies at this year’s festival in June. And the range will include Europe, Japan and Latin America! Our exciting line-up of movies includes France, Germany, Japan and Romania – as in previous years – as well as Argentina, Colombia, Brazil and Cuba! Both Georgia and Austria are also joining us.
We are also providing a platform for filmmakers in South-East Asia in our DOCS+ programme. Submissions are being called for and filmmakers from Brunei, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia have already sent in movies for consideration. These interesting movies made in the region around Malaysia add a fascinating dimension to the screenings at the KKIFF for the local audience.
