Shin Daewe from Myanmar won second prize in the SYNC10 Filmmakers’ Competition for her documentary ‘Now I’m Thirteen’. She received her Silver Kinabalu Award and cash prize of RM500 from Nizam Andan in Yongan. Nizam went to Myanmar recently for two screenings of his short film ‘The Sunken Grave’ and was kind enough to take these to Shin Daewe on behalf of the KKIFF 2014.
