Congratulations to Cha Escala for winning a grant of 15,000,000 Korean dollars as a result of her pitch in Korea for her new feature-length documentary. At the KKIFF 2016, Sabah Pitching Training & Awards, Cha won a place to pitch at the DMZ Docs Fund, part of the 8th DMZ International Documentary Film Festival.
Congratulations to two other former participants in the Sabah Pitching Training & Awards also won grants at this year’s DMZ Docs Fund. They are Dwi Sujanti Nugraheni (Indonesia) and Jey Leyco (Philippines).
And more good news: DMZ Docs will offer a similar award at the KKIFF 2017 – so make sure you apply!
