Synopsis: XINGU was inspired by the real life story of the Villas brothers Orlando, Claudio and Leonardo. They decide to live a great adventure and enlist in an expedition which has the mission to tame Central Brazil. This movie covers some remarkable moments of the creation of the Xingu National Park, which is one of the world’s largest Indian reservations. Hamburger’s film takes a closer look at the events that took place in the expedition into the inhabited land of the Caiabi Indians.

Synopsis: Kamal and Erin are facing a midlife crisis after a prolonged lack of real communication, caused by years of failure at trying to have a baby. On their 10th year anniversary, they decide to reignite their bond of love and marriage by taking a trip to Bako National Park, where they first got engaged.
On their way to Bako, Erin inadvertently discovers that Kamal is drafting a suicide note – it states that he will try to kill himself on the cliff where he proposed to her. Shocked, she starts feeling sorry for Kamal and also feels guilty about the situation. But later she finds out that he is having an affair with a younger woman who is pregnant with his baby. Infuriated and upset, she then begins to plan a perfect murder, using his suicide note as strong evidence of his suicide. Her plans goes awry, once a local Sarawakian, Jemat, their boatman to the isolated National Park comes into the picture…
