CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS – this is out of competition
Focus for KKIFF 2014: Documentaries
Screening date: Saturday, 7 June, 2.30-4.00pm
Submission Guidelines:
- Submissions can be made by Malaysian filmmakers, living in or out of Malaysia
- There are no submission charges
- The film/video needs to be a documentary – the choice of topic of yours
- Maximum length is 20 minutes
- Screening format is digital video
- The film can be in any language – but English subtitles are required if it is not in English
- Copyright for all music and videos used must be owned by the filmmaker. By submitting your short film to the KKIFF 2014, you agree that the KKIFF 2014 will not be held liable for any copyright infringements perpetrated by you or your short film.
- Deadline for submissions is: 30 April, 2014

- To make your submission, please follow these two steps:
(a) Upload your entry (highest resolution possible) to YouTube
*creating an account is free(b) Fill in the KKIFF 2014 Malaysian Short Film Showcase Submission Form HERE – with the link to your YouTube upload
Deadline for entries is 30th April 2014.
Curating the Programme & Screening:
- Curating the Malaysian Short Film Showcase will take place by 15 May, 2014 and if your film is selected for screening, you will be informed as soon as possible after this date.
