FILMMAKERS’ COMPETITION & WORKSHOP

Aspiring local filmmakers can now showcase their creativity through productions of their own and compete in the short-film competition BLINK5 in conjunction with the KK International Film Festival. The theme of the competition is ‘blink’ where participants can express and interpret it in any way they want, it can also be in the form of animation.

This is a great opportunity for those interested in making films to actually stimulate their creativity in many ways and to get professional feedback. Participants could make full use of their available devices to capture their movies, even through handphone and digital camera.

1st Prize:   Canon Legria HF M300 HD camcorder

2nd Prize:   23” Samsung HD wide LCD monitor & 500GB external hard drive

3rd Prize:   23” Samsung HD wide LCD monitor

Rules & Regulations :

  1. This competition is open to all Malaysian citizens.
  2. No submission charges.
  3. Story Line – Any interpretation of ‘BLINK’ in your own creative understanding.
  4. Format – Movie no longer than 5 minutes.
  5. Credits are not required.
  6. Language – English or use English subtitles.
  7. Respect – Nothing offensive.
  8. Multiple entries are welcome.
  9. Upload your entry by email to blink5@www.kkiff.com (suggesting http://www.transferbigfiles.com)
  10. Also send us a copy of your film on DVD, together with your name, address, contact number and email address to:
