Director’s Bio

My name is Shi Fang Teo, a Year One, Year Two to be film student from Beijing Film Academy. I love to eat noodles. I major in cinematography, still a rookie and trying my best to work on it.

Director Statement

This story is based on my feelings and some observations during my overseas studies in China. Being a Malaysian Chinese who grew up in an authentic Chinese culture, I used to think there should be little difference and zero hardships to me if I were to study in China. Yes, we all speak Chinese. We have similar value and mindset. Still, I am a Malaysian. Not a Chinese.
