Thanks to everyone who submitted or contributed their films to the Kota Kinabalu International Film Festival 2022. We have had a great selection this year and there is a visual feast waiting for everyone in September!

This year’s hybrid festival will offer CINEBALU Screening – cinema programme (exclusive screening at City Cineplex, Citymall Kota Kinabalu) and CINEBALU Screening – online programme.
There will be 8 nights of movies at the cinema – yes, back where movies belong! So from Opening Night (Saturday, 17th September 2022) until Closing Night (Saturday, 24th September 2022), you can watch movies from all around the world, including three from Sabah! These will all be advertised through our online festival guide which will be coming soon!
Then, there will be over 30 films available for viewing online exclusively via the KKIFF website. These will not include the movies shown at City Cineplex.
