Synopsis
Ever since her mother passed away, Laura has been in charge of running her business, a backpackers lodge in Kota Kinabalu. She gets help from Shahid, her boyfriend of sorts, who owns a boat that he rents to tourists. One day, Albert, a frequent guest of Laura’s, once again asks her to take him to the uninhabited Sulug Island. Albert is not exactly a communicative person; his prior travels to Sulug Island have always been spent in silence. Even when he gets to the island, he never does what tourists usually do – snorkeling, swimming, etc. Instead, he only watches the sea from the beach, in silence. The time, Laura musters up the courage to ask why he keeps coming back to the island, seemingly waiting for someone on that seashore.
