Wong Tuck Cheong has worked in publishing and taught library science. He is president of Kelab Seni Filem Malaysia based in Kuala Lumpur. He is also honorary secretary of NETPAC (Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema), after serving a term as its general manager. He was a member of the board of FINAS, the National Film Development Corporation of Malaysia. Currently he is a senior editor at a private university in Malaysia.
