This shortfilm/music video is a short story/musical about a man who lives in a kampung in Malaysia but loses his job and has to leave the kampung for the city (Kuala Lumpur) where he then loses all his money and tries to change himself for success.
The director uses metaphors for how society is viewed today and presents some of the social problems that are present in today’s Malaysia.
G.L.A stands for Gentlemans & Ladies Association – or in Bahasa Melayu ‘GILA’ which means crazy. Cause the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.
